Outdoor Vacation Scrapbooking Layouts

Are you one who loves the outdoors? Here are some outdoor vacation scrapbooking layouts that will not only look great, but may even be able to help you plan your next trip!

scrapbooking vacation layouts

Hiking/Backpacking

Consider using your map as the background. Don't worry if it is wrinkled and folded; this will only add character! Even though this sample layout has a picture of a train, you can see a neat way to display your route!

Mark on the map your campsites and add a short journal entry describing the site and the day's activities. You will love looking back and reminiscing about each day! You may also be thankful for the journal and map when planning the next trip!

Also consider listing your supply list and even posting a picture of your pack and tent!

Canoeing

This happens to be my favorite vacation! My husband and I love to go to the Boundary Waters, which are the lakes between Minnesota and Canada. In my opinion, it may be the most beautiful place our good Lord created on this earth!!

I would suggest the same kind of layout as the hiking and backpacking, that is to display the map of the area you canoed and add journal entries about your campsites and each of the days' activities.

Or another layout you may consider is creating a campsite for your background. Use campsite embellishments to create this look. If you are not completely satisfied with the embellishments and stickers made available to you, consider creating your own campsite background. If you would rather not create your own, use my clipart technique to create this look. Fishing

Capture your big catch with a picture of you hold your string of fish. Be sure to include a small section showing the weight and length of your biggest catch!
